Terrible experience! If I could rate nothing, I would. It took more than an hour to wait for our mains. When I followed up our food with the waitress, she told us the machine played up and our order docket didn’t go to the kitchen properly. It’s very weird that it waited until we checked the dishes? The section server kept asking us if we are all good/ want to order any drink, but she has never checked our food? Finally the food came, but some of them were still missing. I recently dined here with a few freinds. mine was a positive nuetrul experience. I ordered scotch fillet m.s.a with creamy creamy garlic sauce. It Was cooked meduim rare and was to perfection, to my taste buds was only very slighted over salted. i personally in my opinion dont think it was worth the $55 as it only had some potatoes on it. if it had more on the plate and some other sides i could probably justify the cost. The service was longer than normal for all our food, how ever the atmosphere and staff were of great service and did apoligize for the wait longer than normal. What started off with my booking phonecall which got me excited about celebrating my wife my 20th wedding anniversary as we were promised a Sunset view a complimentary desert was ruined by poor service after we got our seafood platter $173.00) we were then forgotten once a tattooed Bikie sat next to us. Obviously intimidated by his presence we were then forgotten. Not once did anyone check on us after that even the chef cleared our table. We were prepared to spend more on wine as it was a special occasion but with no desert coming out way or anyone asking if we'd like another drink we left with a sour taste to our mouths. Disappointing and over priced meal. Long wait for main .And not worth the wait . I hate paying for a meal I could cook better and home. The only redeeming thing was our waitress. Stumbled into this little restaurant for a quick lunch. It did not disappoint, with tasty and quick food on the table, reasonable prices for the magnificent view which is thrown in for free! Our original table had another party sit in front of us and our table person immediately helped us move to another table with a view. Was my favourite place at the pier. Not anymore! Seafood chowder was to die for in a creamy white broth, now it’s in a soupy like broth, also half the size. So disappointed. Friend had prawn linguine, 3 prawns, bruschetta, tasteless.asked if New Owners or New Chef, was told both new. Sorry you’ve lost us.
