I have been at The Wharf not long ago, i saw the reviews and decided to go for a meal with my wife and 2 daughters (3 months and 3 years). The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was nice and warming, we both ordered the venison pie and it was amazing, perhaps the best i have ever had, however, when the bill was brought I was surprised with the 10% service charge added to the total. I have spoken with the waitress and asked to be removed because I wanted to tip at my own will and not by coercion. Why did I reject to pay the 10%? 1 I don't believe it should be added to the bill without consent 2 I left my table after a while because I didn't get any menu and the pub was not busy at all. 3...

Found this place when doing the Manchester Treasure Hunt, and it was a recommended stop off point after the 10th clue (out of 15). Quite busy, nice views of the canals. Lots of drink options inside, wide bar you could queue along. Plenty of tables inside, downstairs and upstairs. Dogs are allowed inside. Staff were polite and friendly, quite quick service despite the crowds.

A great outdoor space with plenty of seating and a lovely setting by the canal. We all chose different dishes from the varied menu, food well presented and was delicious. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Great atmosphere. Inexpensive Considering we were in the heart of Manchester. Will definitely come again. Thank you everyone at The Wharf. 10/10 roast! Have visited for drinks plenty of times loved it and finally got round to having a Sunday Roast Had the mixed pork and beef and both were amazing and everything on the plate was so flavourful. Came out nice and quickly alongside an extra jug of gravy as requested. Highly recommend.

What a belter,, Best place to go for a sunny pint on a Friday afternoon.. Highly recommended!! Buyers beware,,, it may be so busy that you might not get a seat... Loved the atmosphere, great cocktails too..thanks xx Went on a date with a girl here and went well..

Good pub but has developed some unique pricing these days. It 's a stunning venue with fantastic service but I would dare to say its over priced. Would still visit again, but definitely think there are question marks against the pricing of the entire menu.

It's such a lovely pub with a country vibe, in the heart of Manchester. We sat outside to eat, and it was just perfect. The inside is also absolutely lovely. The food was 6 great value. I would highly recommend the wharf and will definitely be returning Réservez une table maintenant

I’ve tried this place for a Sunday roast which was really nice. The place is beautiful, clean and the staff is nice. The area is beautiful for a nice walk before or after your drink/meal. I’ll be back for sure.

Excellent pub in a great location with a cozy atmosphere, just a shame it was raining as the outdoor area has great views over the canal. I recommend having the wild boar pie with the cider gravy, very tasty
