The Wheatsheaf Inn

We rang about 1 30pm on Sat to see if they would accept a late lunch party. No problem ...so we hot footed it up from Cradley. We arrived at 1 50 pm had agreed we were really pushing our luck might have to settle for a drink but not at all. A warm welcome. Lovely, engaging young staff who were up for a bit of banter. We had 2 dogs with us there was a warm welcome for them also. The food was excellent. It tasted really fresh. We had the chilli prawns followed by a malteser cheesecake. What struck me about this pub was the young team were all working together smiling. It was a pleasure to be in their presence.

We called initially for Sunday lunch..which we missed by minutes...more of that later...we then walked up from The Cheney Estate for supper on the Wednesday...had the best meal of the week...Him...rump steak...Her..chicken....perfext...couldn't manage a pudding ...lovely staff and a great pint. The lady serving us...

Had just the best Sunday roast around. Hot and tasty, lots of different vegetables. I had roast pork with crackling, beautiful. Good choice of puddings. The service was excellent, friendly efficient staff. Excellent value for money, I will definitely be back.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, and even volunteered a parking place at the back of the property for our motorbikes. The room was clean (always a priority for us), spacious and comfortable. The food portions were very generous I had to ask... Réservez une table maintenant

We had a fantastic time in this pub with my husband. The young man who served us was so friendly, smiled to us, gave us a brilliant customer service. Food was fresh, tasty, excellent chips, meat, garlic bread. Delicious!!! Thank you

Just popped in here for a bite to eat and was very pleasantly surprised. We had the steak and slow cooked pork loin which were both delicious. Really friendly bar lady and very good value for money. Will be back!

We found the Inn was a friendly inviting place with scrupulously clean toilets . The food was wonderful and a good price. We loved it all

A lovely meal in this the steak and ale pie was delicious. The veggie burger was perfect. Friendly staff . Highly recommended Réservez une table maintenant
