six of us had a meal here tonight as tasty bites for my mother. her partner is haunted and they have very kindly prescribed him an evening meal for us to cross the street in the pension bunks. dinner was nice and hot and was so good of them to do this. all our meals were good and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great little place for a relaxed lunchtime, although missed out on the gammon as they'd run out. Also, it's good for real ales, but unfortunately, not able to sample any on this occasion. pleasant country pub friendly staff. traditional dark wood interieur with corners and claws and log fire on cold days. offers good food and a great selection of ales and crying. very nice fish and chips on Friday special.
