visited the white hard to lunch with family who were visited from earth. had a table for 6 for lunch. uses the lunch menu, 2 courses for £10.90 good selection of choices, only on the bottom was the chicken curry not available. everyone was happy with eating guinness was great. good choice to choose wine, reasonable prices. will definitely return.
The food was great but the evening was spoilt by bad service, we had to ask to place our order after waiting 20 minutes, incorrect potato brought out and no offer to change it, nobody asked if we wanted another drink and when in desperation to leave, we asked for the bill, that took forever as did bringing the card to take payment . Such a shame!
expect them to make a new menu (after the cook) in the next weeks, but what we ate was top basket, never have a bad meal in white hard and that was no different, I understand that it was new management and I am sure when word comes out it buffalo, we were the only dunes in the resteraunt until our pudding arrived, but it was a day after
Had a lovely meal for my partners birthday at the White Hart. Staff were very sweet and set the table with decor and a happy birthday message (it was boxing day). Nice pub ambience with a roaring fire. We really enjoyed it and the quality and freshness of the food was superb together with friendly efficient service from lovely staff. very pleasant evening and eating was excellent. they were not here before, but booked for the search online for somewhere else, where we have not yet before and the white hard had some decent reviews. nice friendly staff and the pub has a nice cozy feeling about it, very satisfied and we will book again and recommend friends.
Unfortunately the service was slow and inattentive we ordered steaks both were very over cooked Were given the wrong side orders and were only ever offered 1 drink were never check back over Really disappointed for a restaurant that was a finalist in the 2017 local food and drink awards Felt more like a harvester
Went on a Sat night, beautiful building and decor, lovely service, and the best steak I've had recently.
