First time visit to this place and it was a very pleasant experience. First up parking isn’t available on site, but is possible both on street to the front and also to the rear. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, greeting all patrons on arrival and were really engaging and enthusiastic as well as being quick to provide orders and service. We were a small group of 8 and all ordered food and drinks. The food was brought out promptly, together and hot! One order was incorrect and the staff were very apologetic and preempted solutions to the problem and definitely went out of their way to put right the situation. The dreaded nut roast! A symbol from a bygone era when vegetarians were seen as awkward third wheels in a country of meat lovers. To be fair the nut roast was better than expected and not dry! This is a long standing pub with a homely feel. The staff were friendly and attentive and the portion size of the Sunday roast was generous. The sticky toffee pudding and tea rounded off the meal perfectly. This establishment is dog friendly and a perfect place to chat with friends on a cold British day.
This restaurant is one of the few pubs in the area that has maintained its independence and offers high-quality food. The food is consistently excellent, and the atmosphere attracts a different crowd compared to other nearby pubs. The owners clearly take pride in their establishment and have maintained its quality over the years. I highly recommend trying the diverse menu, which offers something for everyone, including delicious vegetarian options.
Upon arriving in Harrow, we stumbled upon the White Swan restaurant while looking for a place to eat. The service we received was exceptional, with the bar staff going above and beyond to accommodate us. The menu offered a wide variety of choices, and the pink gin and lemonade was particularly delicious. If we find ourselves in Harrow again, we will definitely be returning to dine at the White Swan. My favourite roast in the area! We visited the pub again this Sunday and it was as good as usual. We didn't make a reservation and so we had to wait for 10-15min for a table. However, staff were very friendly and promptly accommodate our request. The roast was delicious, very generous size and very short wait to have the food brought to the table. Prices are very reasonable.
Being a very hot Sunday no one fancied cooking over a hot stove. We decided to go to this place and let me tell you we was not disappointed. I had a Sunday Roast lamb dinner as well as my sister and my mum had the fish and chips. Portions are very good and value for money. Will definitely visit again and the staff were just as friendly.
We came to this restaurant to celebrate a birthday and were very pleased with the delicious food. The staff was friendly and professional. We highly recommend this place. The outdoor dining area has been recently renovated, creating a pleasant atmosphere on a warm evening. Thank you.
