an annoying, rainy Saturday felt like a beautiful relaxing autumn meal! very friendly and nothing was too much effort in this pub in the quiet cotswold village stonesfield, we relaxed with drinks in the small bar area, while the simple but adventurous menu, well thought out with, I am sure to have something to every taste. our hostes were both chatting and attentive and allowed us just the right time before we order (we are a group of six booked in the last minute) and eating came very fast, served on hot but not scaling plates! our six-year-old diner couldn't believe her luck when she saw the portion size of her sausage with mash beans, but had no hardships to clear the plate! the rest of u...

beautiful family-run pub with a spacious restaurant area on the back. Eating is very well prepared and high quality, and the service is very attentive and served with a smile. Sunday roast was very impressive and exactly what we needed! thank you!
