The White Horse at Withersfield is a charming, historic country pub located in the picturesque Suffolk village of Withersfield. The pub offers excellent food and accommodation, as well as a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food at The White Horse is simply delicious. Went for lunch at about 12.45 and it was quite busy. There was five of us. The lady said there was going to be 30/40 minute wait for our food. Order our food. There was a wait but they apologised again. When the food came it was very good. A couple had Ploughman’s lunch which was very generous size. I had a BLT sandwich which came with chips which was very nice generous amount of bacon. Others had Jacket potato. They again apologised about the delay. Good food. Would go back again
Booked well in advance for a large party of 14, Sunday lunch roast beef dinner, the meal arrived as a big piled up heap that looked a complete mess, the beef could have souled shoes very effectively, the only thing on the plate that was ok the Yorkshire puddings, apart from being terrible it was all stone cold, not recommended at all, shame as it used to be very nice a few years ago
The room was large and had a comfortable bed. The location was quiet with nice views. However, the room was not very clean - there was a lot of dust under the bed, dead flies on the blinds, and black mould on the shower curtain. The furniture was also damaged and could use some care. This place has potential but the lack of cleanliness was disappointing.

We had a wonderful Sunday family lunch. The service was exceptional and we didn't feel rushed at all. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of food. Make sure you come hungry because the portions are generous, and save room for dessert!
We held our monthly meeting for our 41 Club (past members of Round Table) at The White Horse Inn and were not disappointed. The food was well presented by friendly efficient staff. The venue is like a traditional English Pub
Having got very lost on way to white horse and arriving half hour late we were greeted by amazing friendly staff. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was delightful We will definitely be returning with out getting lost.
We had a great time at the restaurant, but it's important to have your own transportation. The atmosphere and service were excellent.

We have eaten here a few times and the food has been generally good, but it is quite expensive, something like £17 for a risotto.
