The White Lion Brinsley

I recently visited a cozy pub with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The bar staff were extremely helpful. I ordered the pie of the day with homemade chips, which was a delicious homemade steak and ale pie. Although I only gave the food 4 stars because I felt the portion wasn't enough for me, I am a big eater when it comes to tasty food! My wife ordered a dish from the small plate menu, which had plenty for her and was reasonably priced. The overall price for beer and food was a bit on the higher side compared to Wetherspoons, but you definitely get what you pay for in terms of quality. We will definitely be returning. I want to change my food rating to 5 stars as it's not the restaurant's fau...

I turned up late, totally missed the food order but thankfully portions were large and my wife couldn’t finish her bangers and mash. Sausage good. Mash good. Price good. Atmosphere good! So nice to see pubs that haven’t been gentrified by family restaurant type breweries still alive and kicking. Beer garden is nice too and we heard there are plans to improve further. We’ll definitely come back for lunch soon.

Lovely traditional Pub Great atmosphere with friendly staff fantastic food... One ov the best stks I've had the pleasure ov eating..10/10... So gud have popped in again today for a drink have booked for next week..congratulations all at White Lion .

Although we didn't have a meal, the restaurant has a fantastic variety of beers and a very welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

Had the best mixed grill Stilton sauce plus my wife loved her peri peri half chicken! Proper home cooked food feel.
