I turned up late, totally missed the food order but thankfully portions were large and my wife couldn’t finish her bangers and mash. Sausage good. Mash good. Price good. Atmosphere good! So nice to see pubs that haven’t been gentrified by family restaurant type breweries still alive and kicking. Beer garden is nice too and we heard there are plans to improve further. We’ll definitely come back for lunch soon. Price per person: £10–20

We had a table for 6 friends we haven’t been since the pandemic so pleasantly happy to see things were as good as ever. The food was really exceptional at a reasonable price and delivered with helpful enthusiasm by the staff. Clever idea to put scissors in the condiment tray to cut those pesky sachets All credit to Philip and his team already booked again.

Lovely traditional Pub Great atmosphere with friendly staff fantastic food... One ov the best stks I've had the pleasure ov eating..10/10... Lovely atmosphere here the food was lovely you can tell good quality produce Phil the chef had our food out in no time didn’t have to wait to long Also very good value for money and Also offering smaller plates for little appetites Manages and staff very friendly will be back a lot thank you guys xx Réservez une table maintenant

Excellent quaint venue with friendly and accommodating staff. I had the 18oz Rump Steak, which was good quality and well cooked. The locally sourced fruit and veg delivery arrived whilst we were there and there are a large selection of local ales. Very impressed, would absolutely recommend.

We will definitely come back again, the food was absolutely delicious, and very good portion size. We sat outside first and all tables were decorated with real flowers! Then we moved inside for food. The service was A* Thanks to Sam and Ben for everything. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Fantastic new menu (including smaller portions). Fresh, hot food served expediently. Highly recommended. (And the best Boxing Day lunch I’ve ever had). Worth a visit. Réservez une table maintenant
