Me and my partner went in Sunday 15/01/2017 for brunch. We had a nice table in the outside area. We ordered egg Benedict with bacon and for myself: eggs on fire with fried eggs. Not too long later our breakfast cane out together , but when waiter said eggs on toast with bacon , we just simple said that he ordered eggs Benedict . Both meals went back . Then my partners meal came out again. But they just simple add Hollandaise sauce on it . Then my meal came at the same time , but they had put poached eggs on it. So that one went back again . Ending up that my partner half his meal by himself . When my meal came back out , it was cold and the fried eggs were quick slabt on the plate. Turning...

Rendez-vous vers Perth pendant quelques jours d'Adélaïde, de Foodie Mate et je me suis dirigé vers cet établissement avec de jolies têtes douloureuses de la nuit précédente! Oh, avons-nous jamais appris !! Je ne pouvais pas vraiment décider quoi commander, nous avons donc partagé 3 plats et un dessert! Puissance de trempage de masse! Assez heureux avec tout ce que nous avons mangé, la nourriture a été bien exécutée et savoureuse. Une petite critique serait sur la brulee, qui avait très peu de goût de citronnelle et était proche de cavaller comme aurait dû être beaucoup plus fluide. Like the other cafes in the Fig chain this one is situated over looking the ocean and has a funky vintage vibe to it. The decor includes a collection of tea inspired lamps, and lighting, some very comfy chairs. The outside decking area is huge and comfortable. Perfect for a summer pit stop. I have been here several times with friends and family and have not had a bad experience yet. They have a good online booking system which i mention simply because you can choose your title and when i arrived the staff did refer to me as Jedi ( and My Lady)....it was an easy laugh. I recommend coffee and brunch but being the biggest Fig (to my knowledge) it can get pretty busy and there have been times... Réservez une table maintenant
Heading over to Perth for a few days from Adelaide, foodie mate and I headed into this establishment with pretty sore heads from the night before! Oh, do we ever learn!! Couldn’t really decide what to order, so we shared 3 dishes and a dessert! Mass soaking power! Pretty happy with everything we ate, food was executed well and tasty. Small critique would be on the brulee, which had very little lemongrass taste to it and was close to curdling as should have been much smoother. Our first visit to the Wild Fig won’t be our last! From the warm welcome to the tempting menu and the excellent service, this place is exactly what we’ve been looking for since arriving in Australia last year. Having sampled squid in a few places, hubby rated the Wild Fig’s the best he’s tasted in this hemisphere. The Thai beef salad was an experience I just have to repeat in the near future. Salmon fillet has been one of my favourites for many years, so thank you for one of the best I’ve ever tasted. Next time I’ll be ordering the Moroccan lamb and kale salad (I pinched quite a bit from hubby’s plate . An after dinner liqueur would have been the pièce de résistance if they’d had Grand Marni...
Most of the points are scored for location. The mains are overpriced and over sauced and breakfasts are small and again expensive. The staff are friendly and the coffee can be good depending on who is making it (mornings usually terrible I stopped going) The wine list is pretty good it's a lovely place to watch the sunset over the Indian Ocean! EDIT - returned to the scene of the crime - I order the seafood Marinara - please don't bother! It tasted soo fishy and like the chef had used a canned sauce my partner however had the steak which he was pleased with. For two people 2 meals and 2 drinks it was $120 which I found extremely overpriced considering the poor quality of my meal.
This is my go-to place for breakfast :) next to the beach, great coffee, good amount of bacon, but its the toast that wins me back... I love a place that isn't stingy with the bread! Hopefully when Scarborough Beach finishes its development more people will get to enjoy this restaurant (AND the best bit... its licenced!!! **** Mary in the morning too) :-) Réservez une table maintenant
