I really enjoy visiting the William Mitchell whenever I can. It is one of the few pubs where I feel comfortable being alone because it is very welcoming. They also have a separate room for playing pool and darts, which is a nice touch. The staff are all excellent and provide great service. And the food is absolutely amazing, especially considering the reasonable prices. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
Amazing food, service and value for money. I must admit iam very picky when it comes to macaroni, it has to be just right and this did not disappoint it was perfect! We were a relatively large group of 8. The service was fantastic. Everyone enjoyed the meals which included fish and chips, burger, plant burger. The staff were polite and efficient. We will be back again before our weeks holiday is up!
I visited this restaurant on a calm Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, the menu was limited because the oven was broken, so we had to guess what was unavailable. The food was decent, with a typical pub menu. The service was fast, except for one person in our group who received their meal 5 minutes late. The location had ample parking and the onion rings were exceptional.
Had my girlfriends baby shower here and it was amazing! Trish and Steve helped me set up the room in the morning and the bar staff throughout the day were always on hand when someone needed something! Cheap drinks and lovely private function room! Deffo recommend the Mitchell for anyone looking to hire out a function room or even just to go for a drink and some lunch! Réservez une table maintenant
Fabulous value for money. Excellent service. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was exactly as we had requested. Lovely friendly team of people and I would highly recommend the food the drinks and the function room. Ideal location and suits all needs
Onion rings really greasy and soggy, fish and chips was terrible. Seemed though it was pinged in a microwave. Chewy batter and no taste at all. Worst fish n chips I’ve ever had. It also took ages for the desert to come and we had to go and remind them.
Fantastic food,!! .... served quickly even though they we're extremely busy. There was a fancy dress party on for the children... They ooked amazing might I add!! Highly recommend for food and entertainment
Nice little pub, we had a family funeral and held the wake here as relatives lived near. Was a lovely place, staff were friendly. Quick service, and had a nice night here. Réservez une table maintenant
I had to visit this pub again while on vacation. It has a comfortable atmosphere and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the sun.
