The weather was perfect, and we held a golf tournament, followed by a delicious barbecue with all the trimmings. The cost of £25.00 for four people was fantastic, and the food was incredible—truly homemade and delightful! To top it off, we had a wonderful selection of desserts, and Gill even made my husband’s favorite dessert, with a portion just for him. Overall, it was a wonderful venue with great food, excellent value for money, and outstanding service. I was so impressed that I’m planning to book another event with them this summer. They really took care of all our needs!

Today, we hosted a baby shower at The Windmill in the function room. Jill and her team were incredibly helpful during the booking process. The food was not only delicious but also abundant, and the service was exceptional. There is ample space, a lovely pub garden, and the venue has a genuinely friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place!

I had a wonderful experience at this pub! The staff were incredibly polite, and the food was fantastic. I especially loved the fish and chips, and the pizza was great as well. The prices for both food and drinks were very reasonable. Overall, I would rate the food and service a perfect 5, with the atmosphere at a solid 4.

My wife and I had lunch here yesterday in this lovely peaceful setting. Julia cooked and served up a very tasty lunch. We would definitely come again. This is a wonderful traditional pub with a great selection of ales, wines, and other beverages. The food was outstanding. For vegetarians, the veggie pizza was delicious. Price per person: £20–30. Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5. Recommended dish: Vegan Pizza with Vegan Mayonnaise Dip.

exceptionally brilliant little pub. great eating all local resource-saving and best Cheesy chips! great bar staff and made to feel very welcome at every visit to our walks. so good sometimes is a taxi to house involved! very dog friendly (also a dog bowl roast) also child-friendly.
