I've been eating here since 1985. It has always been my favorite Chinese restaurant, but not anymore. The last two takeout orders I got were deplorable. The fried shrimp and chicken fingers I ordered were an absolute scam! They took one shrimp, sliced 4 pieces off of it, breaded it multiple times to fluff it up and then fried it. The chicken fingers I ordered were the same thing. There was a toothpick sized piece of chicken coated in 3/4 of tempura batter to make it appear it was a regular sized chicken finger. A man, whom I assumed was either the owner or the husband, suggested that we could sit in the dining area. However, I quickly informed my wife that this meant we wouldn't be able to order the pupu platter, which she was really looking forward to. Before we could discuss it any further, the woman abruptly interrupted us, snapping, "NO PUPU PLATTERS!" in a very condescending tone.

It 's a nice little family restaurant. The Wok is cosy and seems to always have at least a few people inside eating, and is sometimes quite busy! It is a long time personal favorite of my wife, and while it 's not my favorite chinese joint, it 's still more than passable. I 've found the only flaw is the kitchen 's tendency to overcook... well, just about everything. However, they are quite responsive to a request to NOT overcook things (which is admittedly a strange request to have to make), and since that occurred to me all of my meals there have been delicious. This is a bit of a long story, but the lady owner is amazing! She's like a matriarch who is incredibly welcoming. It's hard to leave without chatting with her. She's wise and charming, just like a lucky charm filled with sweetness, similar to cookies! The chicken wings here are the best—oh my goodness, I absolutely love this place! I can't praise the owner enough; the food is fantastic, especially those wings. OMG!

I've been a customer for 40 years and have never had a complaint. Most of the dishes on the menu deserve a 5-star rating!

You have the best lo mine ever, they use flat noodles instead of trembling as I have been here for a long time!
