Eaten here a few times with family, today was girlfriend our 7yr old Son. Friendly service at bar when ordering and information of what's available. Slight wait due to busy time, however, well worth it! Son had Sausage, chips and gravy loved the sausages and gravy! Girlfriend ordered fish and chips with mushy peas Whale came out! She loved it! I ordered Kiev and chips chicken was succulent and garlic flowed as I cut in! (I like garlic). Chips were old school, handmade and tasted delicious! Cost was just over £30 and was 3 meals drinks. Staff are always extremely friendly and nothing is a problem.

Great food and great atmosphere, can't fault it. Not one of my local pubs but definitely worth coming out of the way for. I would highly recommend it.

Little bit quiet today, service was excellent beer food 1st class as usual. Highly recommend this establishment for food and drinks

Friendly welcome, good choice of food we had the Mince and Dumplings which was very nice will defo go back

Haven't been in for a while but was blown away by the attentive staff and brilliant reasonably priced food
