Starter was incorrect but I accepted it anyway as the young server guy looked embarrassed. Then my Main was given to another person in my party as the server said it was olives. This person took a bite and confirmed it was the wrong pizza so the server took it from her and gave it to me. A bite removed and teeth marks included. I asked for a discount and was told I would get it. Instead they remade my pizza, and then a different server told me it was the other customer's fault and the original server did not state olives, yet 15 people heard him do so. So finally got main 2 hours and 15mins after arriving when most of my party had finished eating. Totally tasteless. Most bland pizza ive had...
Disappointing visit to restaurant last night . The staff were very nice , but our order had 3 wrong dishes and the pasta meatballs were not cooked properly. Consequently the other guests had to wait for replacement items to arrive. Finally the Chef came out and loudly admonished the whole table of 8 for complaining about the meatball dish! This response was totally inappropriate and the chef needs get himself onto a customer service course sharpish! Not planning to return soon, which is a shame as the staff (with one exception) were friendly and general atmosphere was nice.
Went here on Saturday night , 6 of us, the welcome was very friendly , service was first class , food you couldn't fault at all! The only criticism we could make was a large table of people who's behaviour didn't fit in with this nice little family run restaurant. My advise to the owners would be not to take on large bookings as it takes the shine off the experience. Best of luck for your business in the future
The restaurant was cold, the staff was inattentive, and they did not check back or offer drinks (an empty glass sat on the table for half an hour). The pizzas were just okay, nothing particularly special. Hopefully, the owners sarcastic responses to negative feedback will address the problems, although I have my doubts.
What a treat! We visited last night. We drove a fair way to get to the restaurant and were not disappointed. The actual restaurant is lovely, the staff are great and the food is awesome! The pizzas bases are perfect the toppings are quality. The garlic bread was super tasty as well! I can’t wait to return!
Our first visit to Wimborne after recently relocating here was fantastic. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the food was excellent. The live music was a pleasant surprise. I would highly recommend this place and plan to return soon. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my experience.
Stumbled upon this place on a Friday night visiting Wimborne from Bournemouth. The welcome was warm, the family story is lovely importantly the food was superb. The range of home made pizzas burgers are excellent and the sharing melted Camembert cheese is outstanding.
