We booked a large table for a group event and were met with poor attitude from our server, this was explained as due to large walk on group which had cleaned the kitchen out of several items. Our spirits were still high as our expectations were limited, decent food and a good atmosphere was really all we were looking for. Our server continually seems frustrated by our large party (despite our pre booking). Simple requests such as condiments or a stake knife was met with distain. The section we had was not heated, it was a cold day and some people kept their jackets and coats on. I think it could be well lit too especially the section where food was displayed (buffet) The bartender was very good. The sign to the ladies loo can be improved. The food was not bad at all.

The staff were friendly but had to wait an age, had to go up to the bar to get service. The food was horrid burnt, over salted and just all around not nice. The mens toilets were in a terrible state. Would definitely not return or recommend.

Lovely food every day of the week, and Sunday lunch is fabulous, very generous portions, home cooked veg and loads of meat. Highly recommend!

Pleasant staff, accommodation fine, food was nice, some drinks over priced.
