Very nice cashier who was embarrassingly spoken down to by their manager when they were trying to help me with something. The cashier was being so wonderful and this guy wasn’t paying attention and immediately scolded them for not tending to me.Really disappointed to see, but it tracks. The Wyndown is unfortunately overpriced as well and aims to be high-end without offering a consistent experience. They sell draft latte cans next door at Trader Joe’s anyhow ¯ (ツ) ¯

Friendly, tasty, and fun. I heard about their scones on Reddit (yes, there’s a thread for DC scones , and have to agree—Wydown’s are hands down the best scones I’ve found in DC so far (apart from my family recipe . They also have seasonal varieties, always a plus. The location is also convenient, right around the corner from U 14th street. Also went on a Sunday morning, and there’s a nice cozy, bubbly atmosphere with lots of folks. And did I mention friendly?

this is my favorite coffee shop in dc. their baked goods are delicious! i've tried almost all of them and i'm always surprised at how good they are. my favorite has to be their cherry almond scone though it just hits different. their coffee is also good and pleasantly flavorful. i go here especially in the summer for their lavender latte. it's the best i've found that actually tastes floral and like lavender. 12/10 recommend

Came in for a quick coffee we ended up staying and dining in. The food was absolutely amazing especially for it not being the main focus point. Appreciated them having plenty of vegetarian options. Service was quick and friendly also like that all the syrups are made in house for the coffees.Vegetarian options: Had plenty of food options that were vegetarian friendly and had milk alternatives Réservez une table maintenant

I’m a local in the neighborhood so I come here often for coffee and pastries. This was my first time getting food, I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich. Do NOT order it unless you like your sandwiches to be 90% onion. Very disappointing as the onion overwhelmed the sandwich, it didn’t taste like pesto or chicken. Not entirely sure it even had chicken in it. Waste of $12.

The cortado was good, but the atmosphere here feels a bit like a chain restaurant. The Coffee Bar nearby has a much more welcoming neighborhood feel. The breakfast biscuit was just average.

This is a lovely cafe in a perfect location. Make sure to stop by before you head to Trader Joe’s for your grocery shopping! The flavors are fantastic, and the coffee is excellent.

The drinks and food are quite enjoyable. While most of the staff are attentive, there are a few who seem indifferent. Réservez une table maintenant
