The Zenith - Contemporary Asian Food

The reason this is literally the only asian restaurant my partner and I will go to is because they use chicken breast fillets in many of their meals (chicken curry, chicken satay etc etc) We moved to Australia 3 years ago and it took us 3 years to find a nice asian restaurant that offered chicken breast fillet having tried many who claimed to do so but ended up serving us up rubbery, reformed chicken pieces - yucchhh!  If you are from Ireland or UK - I especially recommend you try this restaurant as the food is the closes thing I have had to a 'proper chinese' from back home (I know, I know... our version is probably the least authentic - but it tastes amazing)  I know for a fact...

Food is YUM! Very reasonably priced (even cheaper for lunches) and great setting even has an out door area. Very clean and service is prompt. Even accept Entertainment card too! Only little con would be the poor acoustics, it can get pretty noisy if the windows are shut but otherwise great! Can usually find parking in side street or across the road and is walking distance from Luna cinemas. One of the best asian ive been to!

I don't understand the hype. The food was not authentic or tasty. We had the stir fry noodles and sizzling beef and they both tasted like they were covered in a sickly sweet sauce (tasted like it came Out of a jar). The food was so gross I couldn't even finish my meal. Would not return or recommend. Although the staff were alright and the decor is very nice.

This great place on the slightly less busy part of Oxford St has never disappointed. I've been here several times both for BYO with a big group of friends and for a weeknight dinner for two with the other half. Both enjoyable experiences. Their satay needs a special mention - delish! Their service is great, staff are attentive & polite. Réservez une table maintenant

Really good Chinese food! Ingredients are fresh and high quality. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I like the 'Sizzling seafood' the best. The takeaway serves are generous sized and well priced. If you live in the area, you cannot go past Zenith. Totally recommend this place

I was disappointed, a lot of the dishes seemed like "Australian-style Chinese takeout" - meat and basic vegies with a salty, gloopy sauce. It's probably partly our fault because of the dishes.  No issue with the venue or the staff though, just disappointing food.

We always come here when we crave clean Chinese stir fry. The food here is not greasy and there is no msg. My darling loves the sizzling chicken with black pepper sauce. I love the laksa and kway teow wet. Great service from the staff too!

Good to have a nice modern authentic Chinese place in Leederville. Came due to a promotion, but have been back since. Food is freshly prepared and is good value. Good service and good portion sizes as well. Thanks! Réservez une table maintenant

Had the curry laksa to takeaway a few times now and it is always good! Generous portion, and all the trimmings! Nothing better than getting what you pay for. The combo sechjuan is yum too!

Nice staff, nice decor, reasonably priced. The food is very generic though, nothing special. A good feed nevertheless.
