I'm giving this restaurant 4 stars because I've only had the chance to eat here once, and I have a bit of a bias since I prefer soul food from Harlem or the Deep South. However, I ordered from here through DoorDash and was pleasantly surprised. I mention DoorDash because I believe the food always tastes better when you eat it in person. That said, the food was fresh and delicious. I will definitely be back!
I had previously ordered from this family restaurant and really enjoyed the food. However, today, January 27, 2024, I ordered five fish sandwiches, and they were quite bland. They were also wrapped in paper instead of aluminum foil to keep them warm, which was disappointing. My family didn't enjoy the fish either, and overall, I'm very let down by this experience.
The owner of this business is BEYOND RUDE!! They are a cash only spot so you have to go next door to an atm at the drug store to get cash. The food is HORRIBLE!!! As well as overpriced!! The portion are kids meal size. They will never get another dime from me and I definitely will not be giving any positive referrals. This place is straight TRASH!!
A little pricey but nevertheless the best soul food I've had in year's. Worth every Bite. Will definitely return to this Spot ? Réservez une table maintenant
