Theola Restaurant - Réservation de table

Perhaps I'm just getting old and irritable. Or perhaps it's simply a case of me having less patience with poorly trained wait staff. No matter. I was unimpressed with the effort put up by the wait staff. Our bottle of wine (admittedly an older bottle with a cork) sat unopened despite more than one request for two glasses and some help. I ended up picking up said bottle and actually waving it at the waitress. Bad manners on my behalf? Yup. But isn't it the job of the wait staff to deal quietly and efficiently with such things? First time we visited the restaurant was on a Saturday and the meal, service etc., eas very good. The return visit was disappointing. Had lunch on a Sunday and the Meze was only average this time. My brother had the lamb salad and it was also very average. Service was ok. The owners or managers should note that the location is very food competitive and frequented by the local residents. If you drop the ball, you will pay the price very quickly. The restaurant has the potential to be a success and the area needs good variety. Need to be consistent with the quality of the meals and service.

We sat down for lunch the waitress was very charming the atmosphere at Raby Bay is great. We ordered 2 glasses of wine these were excellent seating was comfortable this is where it all changes. The chicken was so tough it could not be cut and was sent back and exchanged for Barramundi.The fish was good the salad was a mix of lettuce and sliced onion. On paying I mentioned that we had to send a meal back the cashier could not have cared less offered no apology and immediately upped the bill by $2 extra for the fish. Will I recommend you eat here NO.There is a great choice at Raby Bay

We were there celebrating a family birthday. There were 40 of us having lunch.i think we didn't have menu cuisine. Entree of dipping breads, celery and carrot sticks with dips. Main meal of chicken skewers, meat balls, ckicken pieces, salads and the most yummy pork belly. It was tender and juicy with crisp, crackling skin. Staff were fairly attentive. Room was very warm, don't know what it would be like in a Queensland summer, and noisy. Réservez une table maintenant

Whilst everywhere else was fully booked at Raby Bay, we were delighted Theola could accommodate 5 of us. Extensive Menu, beautiful food, reasonable price, great service and ambience. We all thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience. Thank you Theola restaurant. Thoroughly recommend.

Ordered the lamb salad. Food was terrible, the lamb was so fatty and inedible. Pet food would have been of a higher quality. Gave my feedback at the counter politely and they ignored me. Please do not eat here there are so many other nice places at Raby Bay.

My wife and I had dinner at Theola. The food was OK. Her fish was good, my lamb shank was good, with nicely cooked vegetables apart from very poor mashed potatoes. However, the wine prices were absurd. We paid $15.00 for two glasses of Jacobs...More

Quick lunch, polite helpful staff, although a tad slow to take the order Moroccan chicken with salad & chips. Chips were a mix of fresh ( frozen) and reheated, easy to spot twice cook chips! Shame as the salad & chicken was great Réservez une table maintenant
