I made a reservation for 7:45 on Friday through OpenTable at 9:44 in the morning. When we arrived at the restaurant, the host informed us that our reservation did not go through. Despite showing him my confirmation number, he insisted that it was not confirmed as the restaurant was not open at the time I booked. This was frustrating, as OpenTable allows reservations to be made regardless of opening hours. We decided to leave due to the attitude of the host and the lack of ambiance in the restaurant.
Stopped in on a Sunday evening with spouse and brother-in-law. We had not had lunch, so were fairly hungry. We sampled a flight of Pinot Noir wines recommended by our waitperson and chose one to have with our main plates of salmon cakes, sherry glazed ribs, ratatouille and buttermilk chicken. Everything was delicious. Service was attentive, but not hovering. A great experience overall. This was our third meal here and we will definitely return.
I went with my family and in-laws for Sunday brunch, and we loved it. Delicious food and great service. We had a variety of food from the ratatouille, salmon cakes to the buttermilk fried chicken to meatballs and more. For dessert, we had the zeppoles, which were delicious with the homemade preserves they serve it with. We will certainly be back. They even made kids mimosas for my kids.
Tables were dirty with food when we arrived and the staff never bothered to clean the food off the tables the entire time. We should have left when we arrived, and unfortunately, we did not. Wine prices were very high but the little bit of food ordered was half way decent. All in all, we will never return to this bar. Ambience is 0 and would not recommend.

Fish tacos were great! We asked the waiter about some wine options and he knew about everyone we looked at and did not try to sell us to the most expensive. I definitely go back!
What a great place! I’ve been there twice so far and each time I have thoroughly enjoyed the overall experience. They have great wine and great food! What more can you ask for?
We had a great dining experience at The Wine Project. The menu offered more variety than we anticipated. The owner was welcoming and the prices were reasonable for San Carlos.
Such an amazing place! Love the ambiance and service. Cheese plates and wine pairings are AMAZING! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a great spot for any occasion

I really enjoy the wine flights featuring champagnes at this restaurant. The portion sizes for the food are also just right!
Two of us had 3 plates: meatballs, ratatouille, and salmon cakes. all 3 were great!
