Ordered poppadoms and chutneys, onion bajis and a chicken dopiaza, I picked up the meal this evening only 20 mins from ordering which was great (6.20pm), the place is bright and airy with an open kitchen, behind the counter were 10 people, 9 cooking and one expediting, so all good so far. However on returning home the poppadoms were ok but what struck me were the chutneys, red onions, mango and mint yoghurt were all in different size containers the mint one being the smallest, straight away I got the impression of penny pinching. This takeaway is frequently recommended in the local Facebook group so we thought we’d finally give it a try as a slightly healthier version for a curry. Ordered a mixed starter, chicken saag and lamb shashlik with garlic naan. It arrived within the advised time limit and the meat was cooked well. The spinach in the saag tasted fresh but it was a dry dish, with no heat and rather bland so we thought it might improve being mixed in with some of the Bhuna sauce from the shashlik. Purchased an Indian meal tonight to enjoy, for the first time in ages ,so wanted to get a nice meal and chose thindian . That was a bad move, whilst I understand I have ordered my takeaway on the busiest night of the week , my order was very straightforward and pretty easy to prepare. Started with a mixed starter of which there was chicken, tasteless ! , onion barji,as hard and overcooked as a brick ! Uneatable. Shish kebab , cold ! And a minced meat samosa very dry. Sorry but not a great start to the meal , and this was the best part !!! Mains Chicken tikka Marsala , no flavour in the sauce at all plus the chicken was tough and had no flavour !! Ordered a meal before Xmas 2021 for delivery. One chicken jalfrezi and one chicken Rogan Josh (a total of just 11 small pieces of chicken across both meals) with chips, poppadums and peshwari naan. The food was 30 minutes late and properly cold on arrival. We had to reheat all of the food which defeats the object of a takeaway. I rang and complained to a guy called Shiraz who offered a free meal next time if we rang in our order and quoted his name. This we did and the meal was excellent in all respects. Hot, on time and plenty of chicken. I've just taken another order. Sadly 30 minutes late again. Cold again and in my chicken dupiaza 4 small pieces of chicken in total and a peshwari naan li... We've been using this takeaway for several years and have always raved about the quality of their foods. Today though, although the main sauces and meals were just a good as always the starters and poppadoms fell well below the desired quality. The poppadoms were soggy as if left out for days and the onion bhaji were over cooked, hard and not very warm. Very disappointed today guys, not your best.

We had a takeaway from Thindian. Once again, excellent. We had onion bhaji, which comes as two plus a small amount of salad and dip, chicken tikka saag, pilau rice. Deeelicious The gentleman who took our telephone order was lovely, very understanding. Keep up the good work. Thank you

Had takeaway on Fri foo service very good as always. There software system needs reviewing it rejected our payment twice but the order went through debited my credit card they phoned asking why I’d ordered twice they apologised credited second order.

Fresh, Tasty, not swimming in oil. The heat and flavours were perfect. I can’t have Indian food normally because if dairy but the menu made it easy to avoid. A real treat ! Réservez une table maintenant

As always good food service. The plastic food containers should be collected from customers when they have the next delivery let’s work together to save the planet

Ordered online and menu is varied. Reasonably priced. Delivery is efficient. Must try and you won’t be disappointed.
