My nervous energy is a bit on the high side, but within 5 minutes of being at the restaurant I am relaxed, happy, and completely ready to enjoy a superior dining experience. The friendly matre d’and staff, impeccable service, beautiful decor, and absolutely flawless food makes this expensive restaurant a bargain. Each of the five items on my dinner plate could not have been better prepared and was delicious and thoughtful. And it is the same every time. Overall my favorite dining experience. I always leave with a smile on my face I can’t get rid of.

Yes, Thomas Henkelmann is expensive. And yes, it’s worth every penny. Fantastic food, beautiful old building and you can actually converse with having to shout! The waiters are very professional and the service is impeccable. Nobody asked “what kind of water do WE want” or if “everything is tasting great” 4 seconds after the food was served. Just the right amount of time between courses, and never empty water and wine glasses filled without intrusion. Al in all, a wonderful experience.

If you enjoy comically overpriced food surrounded by the most garbage human beings on earth then this is your place. My wife and I dined there for our anniversary and the guests around us did nothing but spew vulgarities that you wouldn't hear in the worst dive bar in the city. We enjoy a good time as much as anyone, but the low-class, sexist, sophomoric behavior of the guests was truly shocking.

Every time we dine here it is always a wonderful experience. Our waiter George, along with his assistant was magnificent. He is skilled in the arts of hospitality and service. There are not many places where hospitality is put first. Our compliments Réservez une table maintenant

This is the perfect place for an anniversary birthday or other special occasions. The atmosphere, the service, and the food is excellent. Parking valet is so easy and comfortable. This is the place where one wants to go to have their special dinner.

Henkelmann never disappoints! It is our favorite special occasion restaurant, and our dinner in the garden was a delight from start to finish. I trust the sommelier, who has consistently steered me to memorable wines.
