As for the service, it was mediocre at best. The server seemed unsure of the menu and wasn’t very knowledgeable about what was available. When I asked about fish tacos, she initially said they didn’t have any and was uncertain about beef tacos as well. It was concerning to feel in the dark about the menu, which suggests she might be a new employee.
Overall, it was just an okay experience. The chips and salsa they offered were nice, and while the salsa wasn’t the best I’ve had, I appreciated its light flavors. They do have some drink specials, similar to other Mexican restaurants, and the prices seemed average—not quite as cheap as some suggest. I can only give this place three stars at most...
We travel south through Brighton several times during the year. Stopped on our way home for a bit of dinner advertised .99 Margarita's on Tuesdays...... Needless to say, only the on the rocks Margarita's were .99 on Tuesdays. We shared a plate of Nachos we were charged 4.50 for a 12 oz. frozen Margarita and 8.00 for a jumbo. This was not told to us until we paid our bill. What a rip off-advertising gimmick.
It appears to be a nice family place. Good chips and salsa and a solid verde. I ordered carnitas. Which were cooked nicely and came with rice, beans and guac. They served with flour tortillas but replaced with corn when asked. Service was friendly, beer was cold. A little too typical Mexican rather than a real authentic feel but good and nice people.
Excellent Mexican food in Brighton! The margarita drink specials were a standout. The prices were quite reasonable, and the portion sizes were large enough to take some leftovers home. The carne asada was tender and flavorful. The staff was prompt and friendly. I would definitely go back when I'm in the area.

This is a fantastic spot to enjoy quality Mexican cuisine with the family. While they may not be flawless, the staff consistently serve with a smile and ensure you have everything you need. It's small-town Mexican food at its finest.
I had given up on Mexican food globs of stuff on your plate until I ate here! Everything thing taste freshly made and delicious. I heard workers from other Mexican restaurants eat here for the authentic Mexican cuisine.
They have lots of good, typical Mexican dishes for lunch and dinner. They just started serving breakfast. Best Breakfast in Brighton IL! Everything is made to order and full of flavor.
Low prices, great staff, fresh food, good environment, just all around awesome! Worth it every time! Love the .99 margarita Monday and Tuesdays!

Nice place to stop by before or after Alton. Opened the menu for lunch and surprised to see the prices for the meals. Give this place a try!
