This is the best vegan pizza I have ever had! Having lived in New York for 18 years, I can say this pizza exceeded my expectations and then some. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic New York-style thin-crust pizza. I particularly enjoyed the white sauce pizza topped with kale, mushrooms, garlic, parmesan cheese, and the best vegan pepperoni I've ever tasted. The white sauce was made from scratch and was incredibly aromatic and creamy with hints of lemon.

I recently relocated to the area and decided to check out Thunderbolt for dinner. I can already tell it will become one of my favorite places! I ordered the colpe di fulmine, and it was absolutely fantastic. The blend of cup pepperoni and hot honey really enhanced the dish. It is a little on the pricier side, but I believe it's worth it. My friend ordered the wings and garlic knots. She has a sensitive palate and found the wings to be spicy, but they had a nice kick without being too overwhelming. The homemade ranch was a delightful accompaniment to the wings. They also have a great selection of craft draft beers.
The margarita pizza topped with vegan cashew cheese is simply incredible! As a native New Yorker, I hold very high standards for pizza, and this spot is one of the few I've found on the West Coast that genuinely impresses me. I also enjoy adding the seitan pepperoni, which is excellent—it's the only pepperoni I've ever really liked! I've tried both the gluten-free crust and the regular crust, and both are delicious. Plus, they typically have my order ready in around 10 minutes.

The pizza here is outstanding—truly top-notch! Every pie I've sampled has been fantastic. The garlic knots are excellent, and the cheese bread is equally impressive. My latest choice was the Old School BKLYN, and it was simply perfect. As a bonus, you can also order their pizza from Ambitious Ales next door.
