We decided to have a nice dinner and thought we would check out Tides. Not sure if we got them on a bad day(not very busy, 2 other couples) but everything was pretty much woeful.We started off with a few small plates. We started with the Toasted mini turkish bread with smoked eggplant dip. The Turkish bread was pretty burnt and the only thing that saved it was the dip. We also ordered some Chilli caramel pork belly(Scallops, spiced carrot and sesame purée, herb salad). This was truely very disappointing. The whole thing was soggy and pretty cold. There was not one bit of crunch on the usual crackling part. I understand it can't always be perfect crackling but some part of it needs to be fir...
Tides should take a look at Fish D'vine to see prices and portion size. The meal we had here was nice food, but way overpriced and way too small in portion size. Not many people eat here and not many people will eat here because of price and amount you get. The views are fantastic but no good without the food to back it up.
The atmosphere her is lovely, the place is decorated with fair lights and has a wonderful view of the ocean. However the food was only OK. It isn't as higher quality as you would expect for the prices and quality of the hotel. However, we had a very enjoyable evening and the service was good.
The food was fresh, well presented and cooked beautifully. The staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was a selection of traditional hot and cold served Buffet style, lunch and dinner off the menu - all good !

Wow, this is really one of the best locally kept secrets. The food in here is sensational. Staff are super friendly and the views are out of this world. A great place for a special dinner when in Airlie

meals are lovely but on the small side. not many mains to choose from. don't cater for dietary intolerances. waitress, on the night we went, was not friendly or helpful
Busy place and booking advised. Good food with varied menu. Bar is a bit small but apart from that services was good. Prices are reasonable.
