London's best takeaway spot is definitely my go-to place. The service is always friendly and the open kitchen is impeccably clean. My favorite dish is the Lamb Molikasha, but honestly, everything on the menu is delicious. What's even better is that the prices are extremely affordable, with a starter, two main courses, and sides costing less than £20. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area.
The food at this restaurant is decent, but recently they forgot to include the naan that I paid for in my order. Although mistakes can happen, I gave them another chance and they once again left out the tarka daal I had paid for. This is unacceptable, as they now owe me approximately £6. I recommend ordering from somewhere else. For example, Lime Tree has never made a mistake with my orders.
As regular customers who order from Tiffin Express 3-5 times a week, my housemates and I can confidently say that the food is consistently delicious. The friendly team cooks the food right in front of you, and we are lucky to live within walking distance of the restaurant. Even if we were to move away, we would still order deliveries because we love the food so much.
Unfortunately our food was almost cold by the time it arrived 15 minutes late (after chasing them up by phone) Part of our takeaway order was also forgotten and had to be brought round. Very disappointing service. If we had been offered a discount or free items next time I may have forgiven the poor service but now I will not be recommending this takeaway. A very small establishment making really good Indian takeaway food. You can watch the preparation in a spotless kitchen. There is an enormous selection of dishes. The ingredients were beautifully fresh and the taste was sensational. You could not get better Indian takeaway. A bonus is the exceptional value for money.
