We ate at this restaurant a while ago, but unfortunately, our experience wasn't great. The food was just okay, but the buns had a strange taste that we weren't used to. The main dishes seemed to be missing some ingredients to make them stand out, and the portions weren't great considering the price. The dessert, Monkey King Bread, was too sweet for our liking. The service was decent, but not outstanding. The atmosphere was nice though, and it felt like being in an Asian night market with a bustling crowd.
The cocktail we had was decent and priced comparably to similar places at $16. The service was average; our server was fine, but the hostess was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is located in a trendy area of DC with a nice ambiance. However, we found the front door and the bathroom doors to be surprisingly heavy, which was a bit strange.
Overall, given all the buzz and its mention in the Michelin guide, I would recommend looking elsewhere for a better dining experience.
An intriguing approach to Chinese cuisine that’s definitely worth a visit! Everything we tried was delicious, and the staff was friendly and professional. However, the 22% service fee is quite excessive! Why not just pay your staff salaries directly? It would be reasonable to include wages in the menu prices, which are already on the higher side. By the way, the ribs and wings were fantastic!
Good evening: I have visited 3 times. The place has a good vibe as well as a good bar. Only thing I dislike is their automatic way of adding a 22 percent fee to every bill. That should be left up to the customer to tip. It puts the customer in an awkward position. I believe this unnecessary as I believe the majority of us would tip more but give us the option.

One of the few places in town where there a bunch of vegetarian options! Some of the items we ordered were absolutely amazing. Definitely want to go back to try the other vegetarian options. Portions are of a decent size, drinks are a bit overpriced but would definitely recommend it.
Went on a date to this place. Loved the atmosphere and the food was amazing and flavorful. Kisses to the chef! Will be coming again with some friends since the date itself did not go well. Bad date, but food made it more enjoyable!
Food is pretty good. Honestly if I'm going to return it would be for the drinks. Bar was excellent. The wife and I tried the planned menu for the Chinese New years. It was generous very generous for the price.
Food was amazing and overall a great experience. The only issue that I had was my dish (in a party of 5) came out at least 10 minutes after everyone else. Kinda messed with the rhythm of the meal.
