I ordered nachos and there was a plastic peel tab towards the middle when I went to grab a nacho. It was kinda of shiny so it caught my attention. I pulled out a piece of plastic what someone peeled off an outlet. I called the store to advise, the personI got was Clarissa which didn?t seem to care. I went up there to show and she then advise it doesn?t look familiar and offeredto make my food again, I declined of course then some guy took the plastic tab to someone in the back with a slight smirk on hisface. If I could give this restaurant a zero-star rating, I definitely would! The service was awful! I visited on 10/16/22 for dinner with my boyfriend and dad. First, they accidentally put beans in my boyfriend's bowl, which he’s allergic to, and then they mixed up my dad's and my burrito orders. The burritos were cold and soggy, and there was also no sour cream, despite me ordering extra. When one of the sauces ran out, no one seemed in any hurry to replace it. A few of the staff members were definitely drunk and were chatting about how excited they were to leave for a concert. There’s absolutely no excuse for such terrible customer service!
Well I stopped here for Taco Thursday and on Thursday for a chimi. I orders the steak taco and the steak chili with mozzarella and Chipotle sauce. All of their food was excellent and filling for the portions. All my food came with homemade chips and Pico. Their sauce bar is awesome, I got their green sauce and some sweet onion chili sauce. Both were very tasty and favorable. The staff were all very friendly and very helpful. Great place to stop in for lunch.
First of all, the service here today was exceptional, from the moment they opened the door for us when we arrived to when we left! I ordered the hard shell beef tacos, which were outstanding, while my lunch companion had the soft shell tacos, and they were great too. I highly recommend this place for both the food and the service. Earning a high rating from someone as hard to please as I am is no small feat; I don't give out 5 stars easily!

This was a little special find for us. Big note: they are pet friendly!!!! And have Great service. Zoey was excellent, as soon as we pulled up and got our pets out of the car, she came outside helped us and took us to the back fenced area and gave us iced water in a special bowl for our 3 huskies. Food was amazing too. We had the quesadillas and the steak bowl. Really good. We also ordered some nuggets for the our kids and they loved them.
I wasn’t very pleased with my recent visit. It seems like the quality of the food has been declining lately. This time, the flour tortillas were torn, and the soda was way off—too much soda water and it tasted awful! When I mentioned the strange taste, the staff asked what I wanted, and when I said Sprite, she said it couldn’t be fixed and acted rather snobby about it. I’ll likely be taking my Taco Tuesday business elsewhere from now on.
Tijuana Flats has been going downhill for a while, and after tonight’s experience, I won’t be coming back. The food was really bad. At first, I was unhappy with the small portions for the price, but the quality was so low that none of us could finish our meals. I used to enjoy their nachos, but now it’s tough to believe I ever liked them.
Do you still have a soft spot for this place? Unfortunately, they no longer serve enchiladas, which is a bit of a letdown. On the bright side, I tried a soft taco, and it was absolutely delicious. It's definitely a one-of-a-kind spot!

Food was horrible. 11 dollars down the drain. I didn't order anything spicy but when I bit into it something burned my mouth. Now I'm going to be bothered with acid reflux all night. And the chips stunk. Never eating here again.
