Went through this location today with my cocker spaniel. An older lady came to the window and bless her heart, not only greeted me with a smile and hi there, but (only dog lovers will understand) made a big deal of how gorgeous he is. Even asked if she could buy him a timbit, which he greatly enjoyed. He was so excited by her friendly, loving tone and treat! He's my love and joy of 8 years, so to have someone actually acknowledge him and make a fuss over him made me smile and thank her. She's a gem, kindness to animals refects one's true heart. It's getting annoying when i go to the drive thru and one woman talks over the other, where is the professionalism ?!, then if that isnt enough, the woman who makes the food, brings it over and slams it down on the counter, i feel like im inconveniencing her. If she isnt happy working with the public then maybe shes better suited for factory work or somewhere that doesnt involve the public!!! UPDATE: I stand corrected its an automated system that repeats what the employees say and it repeats right after they say anything, its still annoying! And if management can shut that system OFF then they should!
I have been a regular Tim's customer for decades. A few weeks ago I started stopping at the Tim's in Elora. My customer experience there has not been a positive one. The dipped donuts looked terrible, the staff has not been attentive. My assumption simply is that staff there is not properly trained. I will give the store another chance. Otherwise, I will make a detour through Fergus next time.
I have a habit of paying for the person behind me at the drive-thru, especially if they are ordering a couple of coffees and some food. I continued this trend today when the woman behind me ordered a large coffee. My credit card bill now shows an extra $30.50 charge. It's important to be generous, but also cautious when participating in this kind of kindness at Tim Hortons.
