It was nice to find a friendly place to grab a bite. Both English and French were spoken. Hot chili was down to about half of a bowl, so I was not charged for it. The soup was delicious. My husband, Jerry, had a chicken club, which he really liked. My husband insisted that I eat something else. I went to the counter, and I asked if the glazed doughnuts had cinnamon. I told him that I was now highly allergic to cinnamon. He said that he didn't want to have me take the chance. I had told him that I now carry a pen for this allergy. I was so pleased that they treated it seriously.
The manager at this restaurant was extremely rude. I ordered a latte at the drive-thru and it was overfilled, spilling all over me and my clothes. When I went back in for a refund, the woman at the counter refused and the manager yelled at me to leave. It was a frustrating experience and it's disappointing that the staff lacked basic customer service skills. I had to escalate the issue to corporate and will not be returning to this Tim Hortons location.
