today had a nice afternoon tea for fourteen guests at time for tea to celebrate a special birthday. the service was excellent and the staff is very friendly and attentive. the cakes were delicious with a variety of tea and coffee. some days before the event I received a call to confirm the details and to ensure everything we had required. some of our guests were children and louise had given them special small cakes they loved. even if we initially made the booking, we decided to stay for a cooked breakfast. it was very cheap with a lot to eat and again good service. we look forward to return to time for tea and would recommend a visit.
My friend and I had a lovely afternoon tea at Time for Tea this afternoon. The sandwiches of smoked salmon and cream cheese, Coronation chicken, and ham and tomato, weren’t tiny and thin, but made with thickly cut, really fresh bread. The cakes, banoffee, cherry Bakewell sponge and bread pudding were really good, and we finished off with scones with jam and cream which were also lovely and fresh. This is a great little cafe in a beautiful part of Kenilworth, and it also hosts a variety of community events. Thoroughly recommended.
