I visited the restaurant yesterday and unfortunately had a negative experience due to the disrespectful treatment I received from a young lady working in the afternoon. When I asked a simple question about a tea, her response was dismissive and didn't make sense. I noticed that she was warm and helpful to the white women who entered, which suggests a troubling issue with racial bias (as indicated in other reviews). The tea I purchased was of poor flavor and overpriced, even though it was advertised as being on sale. I would advise other Black women to think twice about visiting, as it seems this issue is common here and the management hasn’t taken steps to address it.

My partner and I visited this charming place for a birthday celebration, and we left with an Earl Grey sampler, some local wildflower honey, and an adorable cat-themed teacup. The shop itself is beautiful, filled with fantastic teapots, and we were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary spoon at checkout. The honey has a delightful flavor that complements both the tea we purchased and even enhances pizza. The Earl Grey sampler is just what we needed to experience a variety of flavorful and refreshing teas. We can't wait to return for more!
I typically don't write reviews, but my experience at this restaurant today was quite disappointing due to the demeanor of a younger staff member. When I entered, she simply stared at me in silence, and when I asked for directions, she pointed to a wall in an annoyed manner. She then told me to stand by and wait while she finished something on her computer before I could check out, and her attitude during that time was quite unfriendly. I was the only customer there, which made the whole situation feel even stranger and more uncomfortable.
When the local Eastern European supermarket runs out of Russian Caravan tea, this place has a decent, but pricey, version. It's not traditionally strong because it lacks strong black tea, but it is still pretty good as an interesting alternative to run of the mill tea. Basically it's green tea with around 20 or 30 percent Lapsang Souchong. I must say, I'm surprised that smoked teas haven't become more popular in a state obsessed with barbecue . Service is efficient and knowledgeable. Recommended. Réservez une table maintenant
I visited last weekend with a small packet of tea I received from a holiday advent calendar. The staff provided me with plenty of recommendations based on similar flavors, and I ended up buying three to try. I've been obsessed with them all week! I've never really been a tea lover, but this experience has completely changed my perspective. I will definitely be returning to explore more options!
This is my absolute favorite tea shop. Upon entering, you're greeted by an amazing aroma, and they offer a wide range of products to suit all budgets. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they're more than happy to share their extensive knowledge about tea if you inquire. It's conveniently located next to a charming boutique and Barnes and Noble, making it a paradise in my opinion.
There 's a large selection of high quality tea and tea ware. The staff are friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable of tea. I 'll be coming back every time I 'm in Raleigh. You can only purchase full sized drinks, I wish there was an option to buy a small 'flight ' of teas to try different ones.
This is a must-visit spot for tea and honey enthusiasts. They offer an excellent selection of high-quality teas. Take your time to explore and savor a variety of wonderful teas. There's a tea bar in the back where you can try something new as well! Réservez une table maintenant
My one and only complaint is that it was nearly impossible to refrain from buying everything in sight. Staff was so helpful and helped me with my purchase and it smelled amazing inside. This will be a new regular spot for me to shop :
