We previous had lunch at Tisha's several weeks ago and was very impressed. We made dinner reservations that day to bring friends to see what dinner was like. We requested an outdoor table located on the backside of Tisha's as its almost like dining in a garden. We were a party of six and all had different apps and entrees. No one was disappointed with anything selected and through sampling of the dishes, everyone agreed that Tisha's was a true gem. Alexandra was one of the best servers we have experienced in Cape May. She was very pleasant, informative, and attentive. All of us agreed that Tisha's was a keeper.
We went to dinner early to go on an evening tour. Staff was attentive and menu had a little bit of everything. I went for the pork short rib rigatoni yummy sauce and tender meat enough for 2-3 dinners for me! DH had the seafood risotto their most popular offering and it was also delicious. White tablecloths and plain decor and nice outdoor seating. The restaurant got busy by 6 on a Thursday night in October so reservations at prime dinner times recommended.
Brought a friend here for the first time. Not to disappoint, she loved the food as much as I always do. Our server (Dan or Dean? Sorry) was very helpful. Answered all my questions and gave his suggestions. Mussels were part of the specials for an appetizer. Done in a curry sauce. Scallop Risotto and burrata salad rounded out our meal. Kept it light and finished with oh soo creamy vanilla bean ice cream! Will be back, Tisha's is one of my favorite spots.
This was our first visit to Tisha's , and we can't speak highly enough about it. The ambiance, our server, Gavin ,and the food. Despite reading some mixed reviews, we decided to go an experience Tisha's for ourselves. NOT disappointed. We shared mussel appy, I had the Seafood Pescatore( I would call it zuppa di pesce) and my husband had the Seafood Risotto. The pumpkin cheesecake for dessert was absolutely DELICIOUS!!!!! We visit Tisha's often when we are in Cape May. Unfortunately, this time was disappointing. The service was not what we are used to here. Our waiter was pleasant enough but extremely slow. Things were promised that never made it to the table, my food was not hot when I finally got it, and it was just not the experience we have grown used to at Tisha's. We waited 20 minutes just to get our check. Very disappointing.
Our meal was sub par! We ordered the special , mussel appetizer . They were chewy , small and were served with a tasteless sauce.My husbands seafood risotto was just ok. Overall very disappointed, we have dined here before and had a positive experience. Unfortunately , last night was not. We probably will not dine here again.
Outstanding meals, pork chop and a filet. Everything was delicious. A wonderful dessert and a nice bottle of wine. The service was great friendly ,knowledgeable , and perfectly attentive. When in town again we will have at least one meal at Tish's. Réservez une table maintenant
