I absolutely love their feta cheese selection! The staff at the counter are always so helpful and allow me to sample different varieties. During my last visit, I explained how I wanted my feta, and one of the employees went to the fridge and retrieved exactly what I was craving: a rich, creamy feta cheese. I think it’s called Statin or something similar—I'm still trying to remember the Greek name! I also have a deep appreciation for their green olives, especially the Neapolitan variety; it's my favorite. They offer an impressive range of Greek coffee as well. As a performer on cruise ships, I've had the opportunity to travel the world, and I've visited Greece multiple times. I fell in love with the fresh ingredients and vibrant culture, especially on the islands. Missing it dearly, I was thrilled to discover Titan, where the food is incredibly authentic—either directly imported from Greece or made from traditional recipes passed down through generations. I was absolutely in heaven! Some of my personal favorites include a selection of fresh feta and olives, imported Greek yogurt, as well as tzatziki and taramasalata. Plus, everything is reasonably priced. Yum!
Opa!!!! One of my favorite places to get my Greek cravings!!! One of the most complete stores around with a hot food to go station, a deli with several feta cheeses, olives even octopus! The bakery with many delicious sweet choices and the regular grocery items from Greece. One thing the staff is super friendly and very proud to help you make your selections.
All things Greek come to mind, and then some! It brings back memories of my loved ones who have passed and my summers in Greece. I grew up in Astoria and now live in Connecticut. Whenever I come back, I go all out buying all the amazing food that I can't find anywhere else. It's the best store ever! I've been coming here for years, and I also make sure to visit St. Demetrius while I'm in town.
Some people enjoy shopping for clothes, but I love shopping for food! I wish I could share a photo of my food cart, which was filled with baklava, fresh feta, stuffed grape leaves, and halva. It's a fantastic place, conveniently accessible by the subway in Manhattan.
