I am trying all the pho in the area. Well the pho ga had small slices of what looked like processed chicken lunchmeat not shredded chicken like other pho places at same price. The peanut sauce for the gai cuon was watered down and therefore not adequate. I thought the veggies would pay for extra jalpeno and sprouts and mint for the pho. My mistake, they were broccoli and bok Choy and overpriced . Honestly it is hard at any pho places around here to get extra soup fillers, you can get more noodles but never an extra jalapeño . Sheesh. Anyway , this was overpriced for the value.
Really great, authentic place for pho in downtown Mountain View. We ordered your typical pho bowls with rare steak, beef tripe, etc and the flavors were good. We also ordered the spring roll and it was delicious. The only minor thing I didn’t like was when we ordered cafe sua da, it was not served in a Vietnamese phin filter but rather an already packaged drink (what?? . Also, the price was a little expensive for 2 bowls of pho, a spring roll and 2 coffees. Overall, a good place for pho if you don’t want to drive all the way to San Jose.
while this is not a fully vegetarian restaurant, they have the best vegan pho I tasted. her broth is made with shred and is extremely tasteful. the pho also contains tofu and vegetables. that trembles all when I'm phobe. my friends and I usually come here after climbing because it's late.
