Toast in Mount Pleasant is an absolute gem for a quick breakfast stop on a Thursday morning before hitting the beach! From the moment I walked in, the friendly and knowledgeable staff made me feel right at home. The fact that the food is locally made by people who live in the area added an extra touch of charm.Not only did the staff serve up a delicious breakfast, but they were also happy to share their insights on fun things to do throughout the day in the area. When we first got there we stood at the front for a bit the hostess came from outside later. Nothing wrong with our server. Shrimp po boy was $17 with 6 shrimp and didn't even have the sauce on it. A lot of the staff just carried on loud conversations and chef was sitting in one of the seats in the dining room when there was no orders on his phone. Everything seemed over priced and it was really just an unprofessional environment/atmosphere. We all had that horrible feeling after our experience where we were wishing we just never came in.
First visit here and we did enjoy it. I wasn’t impressed with the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit because it was plain but the home fries was good. We also got the crab cake sandwich which was good, the dry rubbed ribeye that was good but they should have offered a steak knife. Service was good and quick. Fortunately we got there just before the rush so we were able to be seated right away. I do plan on returning.
The service was horrible. There waffle maker broke but instead of telling use they made us wait a hour and then told us they have a new one. Then when the brought out the waffles they were either over cooked or under cooked. The French toast wasn’t that good. The omelets are okay. There is a 3% credit card tax and a big group tax. I would not eat here again.

Take your orders here! The luxurious stuffed French toast was incredible—thick and flavorful. I’d give it five stars! I have no complaints about the beignets (which had a croissant-like history), the cole slaw (I enjoyed it, but my girlfriend thought it needed a bit of pepper), or the chicken salad sandwich.
I dined here after trying the pizza from their downtown location, and I was attended to by Halie, who had a bit of an odd vibe. However, the food was excellent. The manager, Jessica, also stopped by to check on us a few times, which was nice. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and will definitely return.
Really wonderful for breakfast in Mount Pleasant. Portions are large and the staff is very friendly. The conjured beef has been phenomenal and we have filled with our belly beaks. Our server, Scotty, was only on his fourth day, but was the most personal of people and made our visit all the more pleasant.
can somebody please tell me what’s wrong with this picture?!?! if you guessed my french toast isn’t cooked then your right 110% right and if you said i spent 17 dollars on a piece of bread, your correct once again. i will be following up with management because this is beyond stupid.Food: 1/5

The breakfast was decent, but nothing out of the ordinary. The service was good, and Jamal was attentive. I ordered a waffle, which was enjoyable. However, the eggs were a bit overcooked since I had them fried. The bacon was just okay, and the croissant was disappointing.
