Toasty's Grilled Cheese & Salad Bar

Crisp, warm, gooey grilled cheese and steamy roasted tomato and red pepper soup was perfect on a chilly to Saturday afternoon. Service was friendly and efficient; atmosphere was comfortable and immaculately clean; Food was delicious. I had the pilgrim which was essentially a turkey dinner...wrapped in melted cheese and perfectly crunchy multigrain bread that doesn't tear your gums apart. Sliced turkey was generous, cranberry sauce added a hint of sweetness and garlic croutons stood in for stuffing. My husband was equally impressed with his ham sammich which was picture perfect right down to the melted cheese strings stretching between sandwich halves. Try it for lunch. Try it for dinner. We went to Toasty's for lunch with people from work. We are from out of town. The restaurant was very busy but the line moved pretty fast. We were lucky to secure a large table (luck of the draw) and enjoyed our meal in...house. They brought the food to the table when it was ready. She was very friendly. I got the Tomato roasted red pepper soup and Cuban grilled cheese. It was so flipping good! I am a big eater and it was enough lunch for me. Other people at the table ordered the goat cheese salad and raved about how good it was too. Other sandwiches that my colleagues enjoyed were the Italien, a Thanksgiving-themed sandwich, and the salty tomato. Everyone agreed that we made a choice

We decided to try this place out based on its name alone. Once there we learned there were different varieties of grilled cheese sandwiches, in addition to other foods. This is an independent, small, local business. We enjoyed the small size and personal touch...that we received. The person who helped us explained how to get tunnel bus tickets, and was genuinely friendly. The grilled cheese was crispy on the outside and perfectly melted on the inside. The whole grain bread added to the flavors.

We stopped into Toasty's downtown Windsor yesterday. My husband had a roast beef grilled sandwich and I had a grilled version of a club sandwich. It is like my husband said that the sandwiches are grilled to perfection. The ingredients are fresh and are generous....I brought the soup of the day home with me to have the next day and I am looking forward to lunch time. I highly recommend Toasty's for a really good enjoyable lunch.

ground toasty’s grillkäse salat bar for the first time for lunch. an excellent sandwich menu. test the traditional grilled cheese, but found it a little bland for my taste. the others are excellent! excellent friendly service. will be back!

I've been here a few times, I like the Fiesta grilled cheese sandwich. I feel like it's a little expensive though. Service was really good every time.

I go here monthly. Always drawn to the prime but the monthly specials are also awesome. Mmmmm, and don’t forget the creamy Mac n cheese!

I was surprised how good it is. I like the atmosphere and the prices are reasonable. I'll probably go back!
