I visited this restaurant for my mother's birthday and I found the staff to be very efficient, especially considering it was a very busy evening. The pub's facilities and general areas were clean and well-maintained, and the staff was extremely friendly. My only suggestion for Toby Carvery as a chain would be to offer diners with dietary restrictions, such as myself with gluten intolerance, more options. It would be great to see more gluten-free dishes available, such as gluten-free Yorkshire puddings, wheat-free meat gravy, and hot puddings. I have noticed that the dessert options vary between different carveries, but it would have been nice to have some roasted parsnips and a greater varie...
the restaurant was very busy. the personal was fantastically well organized. two chefs carved the meat. this enabled us to get our meal faster, the long wait, continued. great, not to have to wait too long. I reserved a table near the carvery, as I have mobility problems. the personal reserved me a perfect table and allowed a simple access for me. the waiting staff was attentive to all customers. I have to say the veg meat was perfect as usual. I love the standards of our Toby career in ainley top, huddersfield. very good management. 100 %
I had a wonderful experience at Toby Carvery in Huddersfield. The traditional Sunday dinner was delicious and the portion sizes were generous. The unlimited Pepsi refills were a great value and the service was fast, efficient, and friendly. I was impressed by the special care taken by the staff. Thank you to the restaurant and the staff for a great dining experience.
the wait for carvery was too long. the tellers were cold when you came to your table, eating was tepid and not hot. we had to heat it with hot gravy. no air and too busy so much concerned about the spread of covid. no masks worn by everyone. kovid numbers are rising, so will not rush again. Eating was always good here.

I had a standard plate and I was given 2 tiny slices of meat , the vegetables were fine but the portion of meat was terrible. I also had a syrup sponge which was made I assume with black treacle which was very over powering and honestly in edible not at all what I expected.
On Saturday morning, we went to the breakfast buffet. Wow, this place is bustling! If you plan to visit, make sure to come early as the amazing spread draws people into Toby Carvery. They offer a wide variety of delicious food at very affordable prices.
The staff were welcoming. The food was excellent. However I was really disappointed with how shabby and worn the decor looked. It was a real disappointment. The place needs refurbishing
excellent, friendly service, large table with window view, eating excellent, will come back. at least once a month . will recommend friends and family.
