This visit was on the recent ‘mains for £6 offer. We booked on line for 7.05 pm When we arrived queue was outside the door. It took 20 mins to get to the desk. Then we were asked to wait in bar area where everyone was waiting for a table to become free. After waiting until 7.45 I asked the manager where abouts we were in waiting for a table. Checking the computer he took us straight to a table and apologised for the wait. It was mayhem but the manager was very calm and this obviously rubbed off onto the waitresses. We had a booth near the carvery counter, which was perfect for four adults and a teenager. We arrived 20 minutes early from Cyclopark and it was very cold outside. The host was very helpful and seated us right away, even though we had one extra person than I had originally booked for. He mentioned that we only had 1 hour and 15 minutes, but made a joke about the teenager having to pay, not realizing it was actually his birthday. The food was delicious as always and offered great value. The staff were wonderful, despite the restaurant being very busy.
I had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at this restaurant! The food and service were both excellent, and the atmosphere was lovely. I have given it 5 stars because it truly deserves them. If you happen to be near the M25, this is the perfect place to stop for a delicious meal and drinks. It is great for families and children, with generous portions of beautiful food for around £20 per person, including dessert and a beer.

Will not be visiting this restaurant again!! After waiting 10 minutes for bacon on the breakfast buffet there were no fried eggs or hash browns. All food was lukewarm and tomatoes were cold. No scrambled egg at all. Complained to manager who merely said it was due to staff cutbacks and nothing to do with him. Only plus was waitress who tried to be helpful and was more apologetic than the manager
Went to order a takeaway from the Gravesend store and they told me it’s not possible to just make my own takeaway even though I did that last week. Whole point of a carvery is making your own meal how you want it. Don’t want a random selection of veg made for me even though I am there to do it myself. Won’t be going back to a Toby again as the takeaway is what appealed to me.
I had made a reservation but was left waiting at the front desk for 20 minutes before being instructed to wait at the bar for a table to become available. The service has been absolutely atrocious lately and both the quality of service and food seem to be declining.
Overcrowded, 20 min in a queue for meal, insufficient serving staff, meat server covering in store and deliveries, plus having to collect extra meat from kitchen, veg undercooked, potatoes burnt, will definitely not be making a return visit, all round pretty poor

As expected very busy as it was a Saturday night, food was OK though my meat was a bit ropey, had pork, gammon which I also had was nice though. Our waiter, who was friendly, was rushed off his feet but was doing his best. Typical Toby.
My family I dined here on the festive menu to the joy of my mum and I we was able to have a Prawn Cocktail each yay! Excellent service, lovely food.
