the toby carvery was the obvious place where the travelodge nextdoor is located. Unfortunately, what we found was a big disappointment. on the first (Friday) with us was said that they were short staff and closing the buffet so that we could eat if we wanted. but it was the end of the service, so we saw what we got. the food was acceptable. I was worried that none of the hand pumps worked on the bar and the guinness pump was not in order. (a native told me that it had been like that for weeks). the choice for an ale-drinker was therefore john smiths smooth or nothing. on Saturday they did not even open the whole day because of the personal problems. best they can eat the breakfast for miles that are coworkers are so welcoming and friendly and cannot do enough to help eat in plenty of fresh, hot and so tasty, with an impressive variety including huge Yorkshire puppies, what is not to love?
the carvery was disappointing. the filling tasted like medicine, could it have been from a package? I asked for truthahnhaut, it was like gum, I couldn't cut through, ended it aside. sad, still one thing won't go back toby carvery.
nice warm eating with four choices of meat at carvery an amazing selection of sweet and tasty thick engraving. the service was error-free, they were friendly and friendly and the maintenance of COVID-19 was clear and easy to apply.

fantastic eating and service here. the staff was so friendly and helpful when I was disabled, so I had a table with easy access to the toilet and carvery without steps.
Good food, lots of choice and the flavours are lovely, we just found it not hot enough, a bit luke warm. Great service and not much queuing for the food.

There was a great choice of vegetables and the roasts were tender. Good choices for vegan and vegetarian. Good value for money too. Friendly staff.
