Staff were friendly and explained everything about how they are operating due to covid rules. Soft drinks (lemonade) tasted like soda water even after pump was changed so opted for coke. Carvery was nice but amount of meat portion was little and yorkshire puddings not soft like they used to be, very crispy and full of air
I had the Sunday bread, and it was a great choice! The selection of meat was excellent, and the portions were generous. Everything was very tasty. The dessert menu was beautiful as well. It’s best to make a reservation, as the place was quite busy.
the food was excellent, well cooked, hot and tasty. customer support was great. the place, very clean. we had king size carvery with the choice of 5 meats, several choices of veg, the best bratkartoffels and hot gravy?.
Usually enjoy the Toby Carvery but for the money I was disappointed. The lamb was not tender and really not much of it,small scraggy slices. The veg ok but not very interesting,not as they used to be. Réservez une table maintenant
The vegetarian selection was once again disappointing, with only two options that weren’t covered in cheese or weren’t carrots. The barbecued meat, however, was perfect and the staff were wonderful.
Nice food and polite staff. Didn't like that people were queuing around me for their food while i was eating. Also due to queue had to wait in food line just for a drink.
Wasn't able to attend as the Toby cancelled by telephone the night before claimed to have an electrical problem so was closing. Used it a few years ago, it was OK then
The turkey wasn't cooked properly, I told the woman. She insisted it was, but it was still bleeding. She quickly took the plate away, and I was not happy at all. Réservez une table maintenant
the reason the ambiance wasn't excellent was that there was only 3 or 4 other tables in use, it used to be buzzing before covid. Just glad its open again.
