We had a rather mixed experience during our evening out, but our waitress really tried to make it better. Initially, our reservation was lost, and we were told to wait for ten minutes—it ended up being at least an hour. Since it was a birthday celebration, they really seemed unprepared for the occasion. The food was also quite inconsistent; the starters were overly greasy, and the main course, cauliflower cheese, was inedible, so we had to send it back. However, we appreciate our waitress's efforts and thanked her for her service.
We visit Eden Park about once a month. The meter greeter is always friendly and the food is great value. However we do get irritated by the Carvery chefs who give the impression that they really don’t want to be there and dive back into the kitchen at every opportunity therefore having no idea if people are waiting to be served.
Good value carvery and generous sized puds. Staff produced a candle in an ice cream sundae for one of my party celebrating a birthday, much appreciated. Small niggle on this occasion: some of the veg were not as hot as we might have liked (but we still managed to eat everything! .
I love going to the Toby career in the eden park I have booked a table for Tuesday, the 29th mai when I arrived, the place was closed since Saturday for a fire was abit disappointed that I had booked and no one had checked the booking list to cancel me. so I'll book again.

I arrived on Saturday, May 26, 2018, around 7:00 PM only to find the restaurant closed, despite having a reservation for that time. An email prior to our visit would have saved us the trip. I was quite disappointed.
Manager Donna, our waitress, provided excellent service. Although our guests arrived a bit late, our table was reserved, and the manager assured us it would still be available when they got there. Great job!
we were not greeted at our arrival and it was long before we were shown our table, although we had pre-ordered it. it was also a long time before we were served.
Excellent atmosphere.Good wholesome food.Generous portions and variety.Very good service every time.
