Tokyo House Teppanyaki

In Japan, Tepanyaki restaurants cook beautiful fresh foods at your table to show you the high quality ingredients you are getting. There are not many, if any at all, that throw food at you. It appears that this style has evolved out of USA Teppanyaki traditions. When the staff came to our table of five friends and started putting a paper 'bib' on me for the coming fun food experience, I felt somehow uneasy. I had planned to dine at a highly recommended restaurant during a business trip, but they were fully booked. Without a backup plan, I wandered the streets until I came across a Japanese restaurant next to a cafe. As a fan of Japanese cuisine, I decided to give it a try. I wasn't very hungry, so I ordered a Coke Zero, a glass of wine, and some sashimi. The wine arrived before the Coke, which was a minor inconvenience, but I was quite thirsty. First time i tried the food here. It was nice. I order bento box, it include chicken, vegetable, 2 pieces of tempura prawn and steam rice. It just $11, i think it is a good value but the steam rice it us too small portion for me. The gyoza is so so for me. The big impression here is the staff is very friendly and nice. The service is good. The owner is very nice person, friendly and has more experience in cooking. The atmosphere here is big, clean, and very attractive.

My friends and I had a great night dining at this restaurant. The food was delicious, the staff was entertaining, and the service from the host, James, was excellent. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fun and casual dining experience at a reasonable price. They have options to suit everyone's tastes!

Enjoyed a great meal tonight, with very friendly staff. Lots of different food, all very tasty ...sauces were very nice. Loved the fish course, in particular.
