I have been going to Tokyo Lobby for over 35 years. The San Gabriel Tokyo Lobby closed in 2014, so we have to drive out to Hacienda Heights. We go out that way once every 3 months to get a haircut in Walnut. We usually have the lunch special. E special teriyaki beef and teriyaki chicken, tempura. #2 special CA roll, teriyaki beef and tempura. All meals come with salad, soup and rice. Nice large portion. I usually have to box half my meal. If I'm in the area again, I will definitely drop by.
I used to visit this place as a kid two decades ago when it was owned by a Japanese couple. Now, I believe the owners are Korean. The atmosphere back then was really appealing, with koi fish and a water fountain in the lobby, complemented by dim, moody lighting. While the restaurant still feels somewhat familiar, it’s definitely changed. The food is typical of a Korean-run Japanese restaurant—good, but not exceptional—and the decor has a bit of a worn-out feel.
Parking: Strip mall free parking lot. Meal times can be difficult to find parking due to other restaurants in the area. Kid-friendliness: Family friendly Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking in front of restaurant with ramps.
Food has been consistent for over a decade of visiting this Japanese restaurant. It's comfortable, clean Japanese decor. Wait staff are usually friendly and we normally get seated right away. Réservez une table maintenant
Incredible quality and value! I ordered a lunch special that included six courses: miso soup, white rice, salad, sashimi, tempura, and a salmon filet.

This is my favorite spot for teriyaki chicken, steak, and California rolls. I've been coming here for a long time, and it never disappoints!
