This restaurant is similar to Benihana and specializes in teppanyaki-style cooking. The portions are generous, but the flavors are just average. The view is stunning, providing a picturesque overlook of the pier. We ordered the deluxe meal, which included sirloin steak and salmon, while I chose the seafood combo featuring salmon, shrimp, and scallops. Overall, the service was excellent, making for a wonderful family dinner with my brother's family, despite the meal being only decent.
I came here on a short trip to Long Beach with my family and I loved it! The employees were all very kind and helpful! The food was mouth watering. The emperor steak was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had! I also loved their shrimp, soup, and salad. The atmosphere was nice and I loved it. Our cook was funny and made delicious food. The ice cream for one of our birthdays was really good! Overall, I loved this place and would definitely recommend it to anyone!!
Being a huge hibachi fan I was skeptical with trying a new place as they never live up to the expectations. My man Edward here was awesome! Funny and very entertaining and the food was amazing! Parking is a little tuff but it's right off the pier and everything turned out perfect for a beautiful evening! If you find yourself in long Beach visit this place! I know will be back! Also make a reservation for the grill you may be turned away.
My fiance and I came here for lunch for my birthday and enjoyed it very much. The sushi was fresh, delicious and decorated perfectly on each plate. Our server was sweet and knowledgeable about the menu. Prices were reasonable for a high end sushi and steak joint. We look forward to we eating here again in the near future!! I exclusively visit Japanese restaurants for sushi, and this one has the best! My favorite roll is the spicy salmon, which I had to request specially, but I ended up ordering an extra roll as well! I highly recommend this place to anyone. Plus, it's within walking distance from the Hyatt hotel, which is an added bonus.
This was the first sushi restaurant I visited since arriving in California, and I loved everything about it. The service was excellent, and the food was of the highest quality. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking fine Japanese cuisine. Gather your friends and enjoy a meal together!
Nice place, fresh food and friendly service. Tables were the chef prepares the food in front of you are so worth it. Everything was fresh, the service was fast, and our chef had a great sense of humor and one heck of a skill with his knives. Fried rice was delicious.
Teppan? YES; Sushi? NO. Awesome teppan dining. Lots of fun; reasonably priced, good food. <br/ <br/ Don't even think about going here for sushi. You'd be better off to go to Ralphs and pick up prefab sushi from the deli.!! Réservez une table maintenant
