We have been going rather regularly to this restaurant since 14 years ago. Then we didn't go to this restaurant much during the last 2 years because we have been tasting other style of cuisines. We went to Tom Yum Thai again last week to find it changed management and the taste of food were generally disappointing. All the dishes turned out to be having too much sugar and soy sauce, lost the freshness that we like about Thai food. The worst we had was chicken Pad Thai, which was completely ruined by the cook for cooking the rice noodles into a pile of sweet gluggy mess, with a few withered bean sprouts. (I could have done better than that at home). The stir-fry beef dish we ordered was also...
We went here with some friends and we were surprised that there was nobody in the restaurant which used to be always packed. We have been going to this restaurant for 25 years and we are extremely disappointed to see that the ownership has changed and you people are now running the restaurantThe food is still tasty but it's not the same as the old service and delicious meals that were used to get at Tom yum Thai Epping
This is definitely the place you go for conversation that is so enthralling it takes away from the food. Definitely not the best Thai but absolutely not the worst. Service is not consistent having all 3 meals coming out unusually far apart while table rice was getting cold although staff are friendly and accommodating. Portion sizes are large, food has great flavour however I probably wouldn't return.
As a resident from this area having moved on 9 years ago this will remain my favourite Thai for both quality of food and sentimental reasons. The Tom Yum Goong was always exemplary and the Beef Salad had all the right flavour tones. The proprietor was an uncharacteristically "loud" Thai man but extremely friendly and the restaurant was always busy.

It is a small cosy place on Beecroft Road in Epping. The service is a bit slow but the food is worth the wait. I tried their signature Whole Fish with Chilly sauce. It was nice, a good size Barramundi with nice flavours. The rice bowl was generous too.
Called for a take away 2 hours later after numerous phone calls getting the order wrong twice it arrives. The pad Thai was not nice and after that they still gave me beef instead of the chicken I ordered!! DO NOT GO HERE!!
My go to place when a fancy for takeaway Thai hits. Good solid food, predictable menu with all the standard favourites and a couple of extra surprises thrown in
We have been dining at this restaurant and using their home delivery service for many years. Always excellent value for money and cannot fault the food

We often go there with friends because it is always good service & consistently good food. the atmosphere is very nice and a bonus of being BYO.
Nice typical Thai food with good value. Can sit down or also famous for takeaways . New owners and new staff .
