On the way to Florence from the interstate 5, this is a great place to stop for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a snack. Lots of pastries, pies and yummy goodness. Definitely start with the hot chocolate, it's made with milk, topped with homemade whipped cream in a giant cup. Their coffee is good too. I of course had the green eggs and ham and my son had Dick's omelet. Nice touch with sliced almonds on the green eggs, and a large pile of cheese in Dick's omelet. Stop on Highway 38. Whether I'm looking for a meal, an espresso, a snack or a foliage bread to go home, I'm always holding to Tomaselli's. They have a bakery with pastries and biscuits as well as fresh bread and a few other gourmet drinks for sale along with wines from various local wineries. The real treat is the restaurant. They have a wide range of choices on their menu as well as daily specialties. I love stopping here for breakfast. You can get traditional bacon and eggs or an untraditional eggplant and eggs.
