It is not open until 2:00am. We arrived with a group of people hoping for late night food and it was closed. It actually closes at 10:30pm, according to the sign on the door. Update: I ended up going later in the week while it was open. The food was 10/10, they gave us miso soup and salad even though we just order appetizers, they have a large selection of beer, sake and plum wine. They are understaffed but that?s not the waiters fault. Over all, I?m giving it 5 stars. The decor was also nice. Would be a great first date spot. (PS: I don?t remember if the resturant is handicapped accessible. I will update this next time I go)
The restaurant has a wonderfully authentic decor, and the food is absolutely delicious. I've visited several times, and the sushi has consistently been a standout. On my last visit, the server offered to bring us extra radishes on the side, which was a nice touch. However, I found it a bit off-putting when she brought the check without us asking, even though we had only been there for 35 minutes. I hope they can be a bit more considerate to their customers in the future.
I had a great weekend dinner here with friends. We reserved a table and had no problems with them honoring that. The host and the waitress were very kind and patient with our 6 person table. I recommend getting the more expensive sushi options as the cheaper ones leave you wanting something more and something tastier. Their sake was delicious too. Theres plenty of parking in this neighborhood and plenty of seating at the establishment.
Excellent sushi, miso soup, and pan fried noodles. We ordered the chicken katsu for our daughter and it was perfect not dry like at some other restaurants. I did not expect a restaurant like this one to have high chairs and kid friendly options, but they do! She LOVED the food and the servers were so kind to her. I had to leave a review to say thank you. We will definitely be back.
Our first time in Tomo and certainly not our last! We loved the sushi we ordered, and the Kimchi were some of the best we had? The two waitresses we had (Jin and another Korean lady were SO accommodating and even brought our baby some dim food. Thanks for the nice culinary experience you will see soon:
